Water Park in Castell-Platja d'Aro
38 kilometers north of Cala Llevado campsite on the Costa Brava lies Aquadiver, a water amusement park perfect for the whole family. Aquadiver is an ideal spot to spend a day during the hot summer months to cool off and have fun. In addition to its numerous attractions, the park, located just north of Platja d'Aro, offers several dining options, a shop, a picnic area, and medical services. You can rent hammocks, and lockers are also available. From Cala Llevado campsite, it takes about thirty minutes to reach the park or just under an hour if you prefer to follow the coastal road and enjoy views of the Mediterranean.
Plenty of attractions and water slides for families
At Aquadiver, 24 water attractions await you. These are divided into three categories: children, family, and thrill-seekers. For younger visitors, 8 attractions guarantee a memorable and safe experience: pools and slides will delight your children, especially the Kids River, a fun tube descent, and the Spirotub, a spiral enclosed slide that will have kids screaming with joy. In the family category, 11 water attractions promise fun for all ages. Children accompanied by their parents can enjoy the Fun Temple, a large area inspired by Mayan temples, or explore the Adventures of the Lake. The bold ones can race down the Aquaracer and then tackle the Splash Mountain, the park's 250-meter-long water roller coaster! After all the excitement, you can relax in the hydrotherapy pool with its warm bubbling water. For the most daring visitors seeking extreme thrills, Aquadiver offers spine-chilling experiences: two 60-meter drops named Kamikaze Young (an open slide) and Kamikaze Black (an enclosed slide), the Aqua Rocket, a terrifying free fall, and the Water Fall, a 100-meter-long enclosed slide for two on a raft—a unique attraction in Europe! These rides are restricted to those taller than 1.20 meters.
Aquadiver prices and hours
Aquadiver offers pricing based on height and age. If you measure between 80 centimeters and 1.20 meters or are over 65 years old, the reduced price is €21. Adults and children pay the standard rate of €37. Entry is free for babies under 80 centimeters. Two family packages are available: a family pack for €95, which includes 2 people over 1.20 meters and 2 people under 1.20 meters or over 65 years old. To qualify for the large family package, you must provide documentation proving you are all part of the same family (ID cards or passports). Three season passes are available, priced between €94 and €229 per person. The park is open from June 10 to September 11, from 10:00 am to 5:30 pm. In July and August, the park stays open until 7:00 pm. A free shuttle service is available from nearby towns, including Palamós, Sant Antoni, Platja d'Aro, S'Agaró, Sant Feliu de Guíxols, and L'Estartit. Parking for cars is free.
