The EMAS (Eco-Management and Audit Scheme) is a European certification that helps organizations implement sustainable management practices. It focuses on continuous improvement of environmental performance, total transparency towards the public, and stakeholder involvement.
Garantia de Qualitat Ambiental
The Garantia de Qualitat Ambiental is an official certification from the Generalitat de Catalunya that recognises campsites committed to managing their activities more responsibly. It notably takes into account water and energy management, waste reduction and sorting, more responsible purchasing, landscape integration, and the limitation of nuisances such as noise and vibrations.
ISO 14001
The ISO 14001 certification recognises the implementation of an environmental management system that enables Camping Cala Llevadó to identify, monitor and improve the impact of its activities. It notably covers the management of water, energy, waste, infrastructure, green spaces, the wastewater treatment plant, and the continuous improvement of environmental practices.
