Club de Golf Costa Brava
Welcome to Club de Golf Costa Brava, one of the first golf courses on the Costa Brava. It is nestled within a vast estate surrounded by breathtaking natural scenery. Boasting 27 holes, the course is cleverly divided into two layouts. The Green Course (Par 70) was designed by British architect Hamilton Stutt. Its first nine holes are quite technical due to their configuration (trees, mounds, narrow fairways). The last nine holes, on flatter terrain, are easier to navigate. The Red Course (Par 73) includes the last nine holes of the Green Course as well as nine additional holes designed in 2014 by architect Jorge Soleir Peix. Beware of the undulating, fast greens that can impact your scorecard. While Club de Golf Costa Brava is a private club, non-members can access it year-round by paying green fees. It is located in Santa Cristina d'Aro, just 32 km from our campsite.
PGA Golf
Located 39 km away and an hour from Barcelona, the Camiral Golf & Wellness is Spain's premier golf resort. This Costa Brava hotel features two courses ranked among the best in Europe. Together, the 36 holes, divided into two par-72 courses, offer varying levels of difficulty. The first, the PGA Catalunya Stadium Course, has hosted the Spanish Open three times. Known for its beauty, this course regularly hosts European Tour tournaments. The Catalunya Stadium Course presents numerous challenges that can affect the scorecards of professional players. The second, the PGA Catalunya Tour Course, is shorter and more accessible (6,000 meters) than the first. It provides a true challenge for golfers and has co-hosted the final stage of the European Tour Qualifying School since 2008. In addition to its golf courses on the Costa Brava, Camiral Golf & Wellness is a hotel complex with a spa and wellness center.
Club Golf d’Aro - Mas Nou
Club Golf d’Aro is one of the best golf courses on the Costa Brava. This paradise is nestled at over 300 meters above sea level in an exclusive setting, just 43 km from our campsite. On one side, you’ll find the Gavarres Massif; on the other, postcard-worthy beaches such as Platja d’Aro, Sa Conca, S’Agaró, and Palamós. Designed by architect Ramón Espinosa, this Par 72, 18-hole course is suitable for both professionals and amateurs. The placement of slopes, uphill holes, doglegs, and water hazards adds excitement to the game. After every shot, you’re rewarded with breathtaking views. Located in Santa Cristina, Club Golf d’Aro offers golfers a deep connection to nature, surrounded by a unique natural environment. The roughs, greens, bunkers, and water hazards resemble a life-sized version of the picturesque landscapes of the Spanish Pyrenees. Just 15 minutes from the sea, it’s the ideal spot to relax and hone your skills.
Empordà Golf Resort
The Empordà Golf Resort is a contemporary hotel featuring various wellness facilities: spa, sauna, restaurant, outdoor pool, and more. This luxury Costa Brava hotel is renowned for its two world-class golf courses: Empordà Links (Par 71) and Empordà Forest (Par 72). These courses are the first in Spain designed by architect Robert von Hagge. The Empordà Forest winds through a traditional Mediterranean pine forest, offering shelter from the Tramontane wind, located 67 km from our establishment. Empordà Links is set amidst lakes, dunes, and bunkers, with a standout 18th hole featuring a 3,000-square-meter green protected by a large lake. The combination of these courses gave rise to the Empordà Top 10 PGA Von Hagge, which hosted the PGA Pre-Qualifying School II. The layout challenges players to use a variety of shots and constantly adjust their fittings. It’s both an attractive and stimulating course, enhanced by the beauty of its surroundings and the meticulous landscaping that defines the golf clubs of the Costa Brava.
Golf de Pals
Inaugurated in 1966, Platja de Pals Golf is the oldest golf course on the Costa Brava. It hosted the Spanish Open and the PGA European Tour in 1972 and was the venue for the final stage of the European Tour School in 2002-2003. Golf de Pals is set amidst a pine forest near the sea and is one of the few Costa Brava courses to feature a Par 73. On the opening holes, players must be precise due to the challenges of the course: narrow fairways, sharp doglegs, and deep bunkers. This golf club enjoys a privileged location for a getaway, just 70 km from Tossa de Mar and five minutes from one of the longest beaches on the Costa Brava, Platja de Pals. Don’t wait—book your stay at our campsite near Girona for your next seaside getaway, conveniently located close to the Costa Brava’s finest golf courses.
